What is an Asset and how to add one to the Asset Inventory?

Asset management in car rental refers to the process of efficiently managing and overseeing the fleet of vehicles used for rental services.

Effective asset management is crucial for car rental companies to minimize costs, maximize vehicle utilization, and improve the overall customer experience.

You can now manage assets for your trailers using the asset inventory. To add a new asset, please follow the below steps

Step 1: Go to asset tab on the left navigation bar on the Car and Van Rental Software.

Step 2: Click on 'Create'.

Step 3: Enter the Asset type, Asset tag of the vehicle, Vehicle details.

Step 4: Next, scroll down to update the dimension, gross weight, and train weight details. These are not mandatory details to save the asset to the inventory

Step 5: Finally, add the frog diagram of the trailer to the inventory.

Step 6: Click 'Save' to add the asset to the asset inventory.

That's it! You have successfully added an asset onto the asset inventory.
