How to view and update the vehicle state?

1. Once the vehicle has been added to the Fleet Inventory, click on the vehicle and then click on the tab that says Vehicle State. 

2. On the Vehicle State tab, you’ll see the the Fuel Status, Odometer Reading, Exterior Damages, Interior Damages, General Checks, Accessories Checks - all as blank because the vehicle has been just added to the Fleet Inventory. This page and all the above details will keep getting updated as when the vehicle is used for bookings, hence it will always show the latest vehicle state. 

3. Now, to update the vehicle state, open the 'Coastr for Partners' mobile app on your phone or tablet. Once you’re logged in, click on the Fleet tab on the bottom row.

4. Find the vehicle by scrolling down or use the search via licence plate, year, make or model.

5. Next, click on the vehicle to see the vehicle tasks screen.

6. Now, click on Mileage/Fuel to enter the Odometer Reading and the Fuel Status of the vehicle. Once done, click on the Submit button and these details will be saved.

7. Next, click on Exterior Damage on the vehicle tasks screen.

8. Here, you can add any exterior damages of the vehicle by clicking on New Damage. Once a damage is added, it’s location and it’s damage information can be seen below. Click on 'Done' to go back to the vehicle tasks screen. 

9. Next, click on Interior Damage on the vehicle tasks screen.

10. Here, you can add any interior damages of the vehicle by clicking on New Damage. Once a damage is added, it’s location and it’s damage information can be seen below. Click on Done to go back to the vehicle tasks screen.

11. Now, go back to the Vehicle State tab on the Fleet Inventory under Fleet. The details entered on the mobile app will reflect here and display the latest state of the vehicle. To view damage details, click on the relevant reference number to open the damage record. The General Checks and Accessories Checks will get updated when a custom checklist has been added and a check-in/check-out is completed.
