Step 1: Click on Settings on the left-hand navigation, and then click on Organisation to see all the organisations.
Step 2: Next, click on the name of the Organisation for which you'd like to add taxes.
Step 3: Click on the Branch tab next to Organisation on the top row.
Step 4: Now scroll down the page to see the Branch List.
Step 5: Select the Branch by checking the box next to the name for which you want to add the taxes to and then click on the Update button in the top-right corner above the branch list.
Step 6: Now scroll up to see the branch details. You'll find 'Add tax' section below Upload Signature.
Step 7: Enable the 'Add tax' toggle. Please note that the defined tax in this section will be applicable to the total rental amount.
Step 8: Within this section, first, add a 'Tax title'. Next, choose the relevant tax effect type ('fixed price' on top of the total rental amount OR a 'percentage' of the total rental amount) and in the next field add the tax value. Finally, select the rate type ('One time' charge or 'per day' rate).
Step 9: To create a tax with a sub-division (e.g. 9.2 % + 5 % fee), enable the toggle button to 'Add subdivision tax' and then fill in the fields to set up the second half of the tax.
Step 10: You can use the '+' (plus) icon in the right corner to set up multiple tax items and the 'Bin' icon to delete any tax items.
Step 11: To disable the taxes, simply click and turn off the main 'Add tax' toggle button.
