Step 1. Select 'Bookings' from the left-side menu in the Vehicle Hire Software to access the list of all active bookings.
Step 2. Browse through the list and select the booking that you want to cancel or terminate early.
Step 3. Once you’ve selected the booking, click on the 'CANCEL' button to initiate the process of terminating the booking earlier than originally planned.
Step 4. A prompt will appear asking you to select the reason for cancellation. Choose the appropriate reason from the list provided and then click 'CONFIRM' to finalize the cancellation of the booking.
Step 5. If the customer is entitled to a refund, enter the refund amount in the given field. After this, click on the 'PROCEED' button to continue with the cancellation process.
Step 6. The booking is now successfully cancelled, and the booking status is updated accordingly in the system. This will ensure the customer is properly informed and the booking records are adjusted.
