How to add a virtual vehicle?
Rental operators can add a virtual vehicle to create new bookings even if the vehicle is not present at the time of bookings.
Step 1: Click on the Organisation Name in your car rental management system to open the Organisation Structure.
Step 2: Click on the Branch tab and then scroll down to select the branch and click on the Update button.

Step 3: Here, you'll see the 'Allow Overbooking' toggle below the Add Tax toggle. Click on the toggle to turn it on and then click on the Save button.
Step 4: Now, navigate to Fleet and then to Fleet Inventory.
Step 5: Here, you'll see a button in the top-right, called 'Manage Vehicles'. Click on this button.
Step 6: Next, click on 'Add Virtual Vehicle' to add one or more virtual vehicles to this branch.
Step 7: Enter all the details of the virtual/ghost vehicle here. You'll have to select a vehicle group as well here (from the existing vehicle groups).

Step 8: Click on the 'Add Vehicle' button once all details have been entered.
Step 9: This virtual vehicle will now be added to this branch's fleet inventory with a unique virtual vehicle registration (with the branch name as prefix).
Step 10: Next, you can go and create a booking as usual from the Bookings menu.
Note:
1. Virtual vehicles will not be visible in the Vehicle Group they're added to.
2. Virtual vehicles cannot be removed from a vehicle group once added but you can simply deactivate the virtual vehicle as usual and create a new one for a new vehicle group.
3. You'll not be able to complete the vehicle check-out on the Coastr for Partners mobile app for a booking with a virtual vehicle. Therefore, you'll either need to eventually add a physical vehicle to the Fleet Inventory and then update such bookings with the physical vehicle or any other existing vehicle to be able to fulfil the booking.
