Prerequisite: The vehicle must be present in the Fleet Inventory
Step 1: On the left-hand navigation menu, click on Fleet and then on Fleet Inventory.
Step 2: Next, click on the vehicle which you would like to activate/deactivate. Or click on the search icon to use the search bar to find the vehicle by entering the vehicle registration number.
Step 3: Next, on the Update Vehicle page, click on the toggle button next to 'Active' to deactivate this vehicle.
Step 4: Once the toggle button is clicked, a confirmation prompt pops up.
Step 5: Next, click 'YES' to confirm.
Step 6: Once the button is clicked, the vehicle will be deactivated and a green snack bar message will appear on the screen confirming this action.
Step 7: This vehicle will now not be available for taking bookings and also it will not appear in the Vehicle Scheduler.
Step 8: To activate the vehicle again, follow the same steps above. As soon as the vehicle is activated, it will be available to take bookings (if it's already in an active vehicle group) and it will also be visible in the Vehicle Scheduler.
Note: The toggle button for Active will turn grey and not let you deactivate a vehicle if the vehicle is part of any current booking (in progress or future confirmed booking).
